Dr. Amy Gulledge | Nikao Performance & Rehab

Nikao Performance and Rehab was founded in 2015 by Dr. Amy Gulledge, Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  After working in both the fitness industry and healthcare for many years, Dr. Gulledge recognized the gaps in current systems for care, education, and treatment of the muscles, bones, and joints.  She understood that the body needs to be treated as a whole and not just separate parts or pieces.  Her success comes from her extensive training and knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and working on the complexities of the different body systems to improve overall pain-free function and performance.

Nikao Performance and Rehab offers outcome-driven concierge-type therapy, training, and manual rehab services with extensive education to empower people to take charge of their health.  Unlike other companies, we limit our patient and client load to one-on-one services to ensure adequate time and availability for each one of our patients and clients.  We understand that every body is different and we boast an eclectic style by gathering the best of modern-day research to develop a time-tested outcome driven system that holds the foundation for patient and client success.   We believe in setting a new industry standard for musculoskeletal performance and care!

Our Mission: To bring quality, holistic services to patients and clients and empower them to succeed through care and education.

Our Name: Nikao is derived from Greek biblical text for “overcomer” and “victorious” and is the foundation and mission for our patients and clients.
